Anna & Jack’s Treehouse has been well established as the top family owned and operated daycare center in Westchester since 2013 (where it started in the basement of Christina & Rob’s New Rochelle home. It has, so far, won the coveted “Best of Westchester Award” twice.
Husband and wife team, Christina (who was a NYC Kindergarten teacher for 8 years) and Rob (who working was a digital transformation / management consultant up until 09/19 before leaving to open the Norwalk location) have built a warm, fun, safe & education focused environment where the students & teachers are thriving; all while raising 4 kids of their own: Anna (9), Jack (8) & the twins, Paul and Angelina (4). They have been recognized as “Family of the Year”, by the Boys & Girls Club of America, Christina was recognized as winner of the 40 Under 40, received the “Women of Excellence Award” and is currently a board member of the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce.
The New Rochelle community is currently comprised of 21 teachers & 72 “Treehouse Families”, the 11,000 sf Norwalk “Branch” has room 121 students (however the choice was made to only enroll 98 ensure all students get the highest quality care and attention possible by the 28 teachers on staff each day) and the 10,000 sf (appx) Pelham Branch (opened in August of 2021) will only enroll 80 (following suit with Norwalk choosing quality over quantity) and has 25 + teachers.
The Treehouse also utilizes cutting edge technology, via BrightWheel, where all parents can message staff, manage tuition payments, schedules, pick-up/drop-off and to get real time updates on what’s happening during the day; as well as access to a live CCTV feed so they can check on their littles ones at any time during the day.
The teachers at “The Treehouse”, most of whom either have early childhood education degrees (or are pursing them) use a custom curriculum that encompasses many different learning techniques that have been combined into what is known as “The Treehouse way”. Most of the students who transition from the in-house Pre-K to kindergarten, are quickly recognized as having superior social, reading and writing skills.
