Social/Emotional

Children will learn to appreciate and celebrate the unique differences of others, fostering a sense of inclusion and respect. Through guided activities and everyday interactions, they develop important social skills such as taking turns and sharing. They begin to understand that others have feelings, which helps nurture empathy and kindness.

Language/Communication

Children are encouraged to explore books independently, fostering a love for reading from an early age. They develop comprehension skills by retelling stories in their own words and answering questions about the characters and events. Through engaging activities like memorizing songs and rhymes, children strengthen their memory and language abilities.

Fine & Gross Motor Skills

Children’s drawing skills will progress as they begin to draw simple faces and basic shapes, helping to develop fine motor control and creativity. Alongside this, they will start practicing letter formation by placing letters on a writing line, an important step toward neat handwriting. They will also begin to practice writing their own names. They participate in a monthly gym enrichment class designed to strengthen their gross motor skills

Arts & Sciences

We explore the changing seasons by discovering how and why certain animals hibernate, helping children understand nature’s rhythms and cycles. Through hands-on projects and cooking activities, children engage all their senses, deepening their connection to the world around them. These interactive experiences not only spark curiosity but also encourage observation, critical thinking, and a love for the natural environment

Math

We practice counting up to 10 through fun and interactive activities that help children develop a strong number sense. Using hands-on games like lining up objects, children begin to understand number positions and sequencing. They learn to arrange, compare, create, and sort shapes by size.

Growing emotional intelligence every day

Teachers help children identify their feelings and begin to introduce strategies they can use to regulate their feelings. We encourage confidence and independence. They will start to enjoy Interactive play and being with people, but also are learn how to share toys, take turns and understand the feelings of others in a deeper way.

Little voices, big conversations

The day is set-up for more, longer periods of communication between teachers, children and their friends. They are encouraged to engage in back and forth exchanges in groups, one-on-one conversations and present through show-and-tell. They learn to listen more attentively and wait for others to finish speaking before it is their turn.

Building strong, caring connections

Our teachers form close, relationships with children. By interacting with them in ways that show respect, children are learning to manage their own behavior. Through relationships, children learn how to think, understand, communicate, behave, express emotions and develop social skills.

What are your hours of operation?

We’re open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We’re here when you need us most with early drop-off and late pick-up to support your busy schedule!
